This one is Mino ware (Mino-yaki) — 1,300-year-old pottery tradition from Gifu, Japan. Your item is from SALIU THE CHEF series, which is modern Mino ware made for actual cooking.
Advantages of this material:
1. Can cook directly
It's open-flame + oven safe. Most ceramics can't go on direct fire — this can. You can:
- Grill / steam on gas stove (with lid as steamer)
- Bake in oven / toaster oven
- Microwave
One dish goes stove → oven → table.
2. Far-infrared heat
Thick ceramic holds heat and cooks from inside with far-infrared. Veg stays juicy, doesn't dry out like in metal pans. Perfect for your photo — roasted peppers, eggplant.
3. Natural non-toxic
Just clay + glaze. No PTFE, PFOA, no coating to peel. Non-porous glaze so it doesn't absorb smells.
4. Steamer function built-in
THE CHEF design: the lid traps steam, so you can steam with just a little water. Mini size is made for 1-2 portions, bento sides, or reheating.
5. Heat retention = stays hot at table
Once heated, it keeps food warm much longer than metal or glass at the table.
6. Easy clean + pretty
Glazed surface wipes clean, dishwasher safe, and you can serve directly — it's designed to look like tableware, not a pot.
Downside to note: Ceramic hates thermal shock. Don't take it from freezer to open flame, and avoid sudden cold water when it's screaming hot.
